A better Coffee,
Born From a Love of Smiling.
I loved coffee. I loved my smile. I just didn't love what the two were doing to each other. After years of whitening strips, extra cleanings, and trying every solution I could find, I realized I didn't want to give up coffee. I wanted a better way to enjoy it. So I created Opal & Co. a beautifully light coffee made for the ritual I love, with a story rooted in family, smiles, and doing things a little differently.
Voted Best Smile — Class of ’02
White coffee. Whiter smile.
I'm Megan, founder of Opal & Co.
I was voted best smile in my senior class. Years later, my dental hygienist told me my stains gave me away - she could tell I was a heavy coffee drinker just by looking at my teeth. I was already going in every 4 months instead of the standard 6, specifically trying to stay ahead of the staining. It wasn't enough.
I tried everything after that - whitening strips, extra cleanings, whitening toothpaste. The coffee always won.
So I built a better coffee.
White coffee. Whiter smile.
Opal & Co.
· Brilliant Coffee · Pre-Ground
Roasted lighter. Different staining compounds. The same delicious cup you love without the evidence.
Bella is our flagship white coffee, named after our sweet Bella - a small white dog who taught us that gentle things can still be extraordinary. Roasted at approximately 325°F versus the standard 450°F+, it develops significantly lower chromogens and tannins - the compounds responsible for staining. It doesn't have the same staining properties as dark roast.
Higher in caffeine than dark roast. Pre-ground and ready to brew - white coffee beans are too dense for home grinders, so we did the work for you.
Brilliantly smooth. Beautifully light.
Give more smiles. ♡
